About Voices

The Barrow Cadbury Trust believes in giving voice to individuals and communities and in empowering them to ‘speak truth to power’. Our Voices blog is a platform for the experiences of people living in the communities we work with and a place to share policy research that we have supported – as well as the occasional errant thought from our team. While the views expressed here do not necessarily reflect those of the Trust, we hope that by sharing ideas and experiences here we can contribute to catalysing positive chance and advancing social justice.

ABOUT THE BARROW CADBURY TRUST

The Barrow Cadbury Trust is an independent, charitable foundation, committed to supporting vulnerable and marginalised people in society. The Trust provides grants to grassroots voluntary and community groups working in deprived communities in the UK, with a focus on Birmingham and the Black Country. It also works with researchers, think tanks and government, often in partnership with other grant-makers, seeking to overcome the structural barriers to a more just and equal society. You can find out more about the Barrow Cadbury Trust here.
